The Token Handbook is written and maintained by The Token Handbook Editors. This page explains how we research, write and update our guides, so you can judge how much to trust them.
Who writes these guides
Our guides are published under the name “The Token Handbook Editors” rather than individual names. We are Chaturbate viewers, not employees of Chaturbate, and we have no access to anything that is not available to an ordinary member. We are independent and unofficial.
How we research
- We start from Chaturbate’s own published sources: its Terms and Conditions, Privacy and Cookies Policy, Community Guidelines and official help center articles.
- We check features on the live site ourselves before describing them, using an ordinary viewer account.
- Where the official sources and our own checks disagree, we say so rather than guess.
- We do not repeat rumors, unverified data-breach claims or “secret tricks”. If we cannot confirm something, we leave it out.
How we write
- Plain English, written for adults who are new to the site.
- No explicit content, no performer images and no recorded clips from live shows.
- Every guide is reviewed and checked against the sources above before it is published.
Keeping guides up to date
Chaturbate changes its features and rules from time to time. Each guide shows the date it was last updated, and we revise guides when the site or its policies change.
Independence and affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you sign up or buy tokens after clicking them. This never changes what we write: we do not accept payment from performers, studios or anyone else to be featured, and we will tell you when something is not worth your money. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake or something that has changed, please tell us through our Contact page. We review every report and correct guides as quickly as we can.
